Photosynthesis Society Meetup: Growing Our Local Food Future**
We’re gathering again! This month, we’re excited to welcome Dr. Terrence M. Loomis, a Gisborne-based researcher and development thinker with decades of experience exploring how communities shape their own economies and food systems.
Terry will be sharing some of his thoughts and insights from his recent Lightning Talk he gave at Tāiki e! last month and also chatting about some of his work in economic anthropology and community development sparking a kōrero about what a connected, resilient local food network could look like here in Tairāwhiti. Eciting stuff!
Come for good conversation, some hands-on activity and the chance to be part of growing something grounded and regenerative from the soil up.
Our resident soil doctor is also home from Italy and excited to be back behind the microscope looking at soil.
