Are you keen to create something special?
Wainui Beach School’s budding entrepreneur & ecowarrior Moz has been quietly working on the ‘Tairāwhiti Upcycling Project’, starting with turning T-shirts into shoulder bags so as to fight the BIG problem of textile waste! He has received heaps of technical sewing support from Sew-Much-Fun’s Carly and together they came up with the idea of making funky pet beds, allowing for even more scraps to be repurposed.
Moz, with support from Carly, is keen to share his project with fellow rangatahi in this school holiday workshop. If the sound of this tickles your fancy, register now and join the movement.
