Following the critically acclaimed release of Asphodels in 2025, The Veils return with a bold new chapter. Their upcoming album Fragile World arrives on 19 June 2026 via V2 Records, capturing the band in an urgent, instinctive creative moment.
Recorded live to tape in Aotearoa by Paddy Hill and produced by Tom Healy, the album embraces spontaneity and raw emotion. With songs brought into the studio only loosely formed, frontman Finn Andrews and collaborators shaped the arrangements on instinct, resulting in a record that feels immediate, intense, and deeply human.
The title Fragile World reflects both the uncertain moment we live in where many institutions seem to be shifting or crumbling and the delicate process of making music itself. Thousands of tiny creative decisions gradually come together, forming something greater than the sum of its parts.
