The Weed Eaters Big Forking Tour - Gisborne Screening Q&A

Something a little unhinged (in the best way) is rolling into town this April. Fresh off a buzzy festival run, The Weed Eaters lands in Gisborne for a one-night-only advance screening and it’s bringing the filmmakers along for the ride.

This bold Kiwi comedy-horror follows four friends on a New Year getaway that quickly spirals into chaos after discovering a long-forgotten stash of ancient cannabis. What starts as a laid-back escape turns into a darkly hilarious survival story, packed with unexpected twists, big laughs, and just the right amount of gore.

More than just a movie night, this stop on the nationwide tour includes a live Q&A with the cast and crew, plus a few surprises along the way. It’s a chance to get up close with the creative minds behind one of Aotearoa’s most talked-about new films before it hits cinemas nationwide.
