About the event
What happens when three ‘mature’ cousins get struck by something a little out of this world during a thunderstorm? In Thunderstruck, a strange meteorite encounter leaves three very ordinary folks with extraordinary superpowers, but there’s a twist: they can only be activated by absolute fear.
This original production brings laughs, lighthearted chaos, and a healthy dose of East Coast flair to the stage. With support from the Margaret King Spencer Writers Encouragement Trust, it’s a celebration of community creativity with a sci-fi comedy twist.
Thunderstruck is also a FUNdraiser, with all ticket sales going toward Takitimu Marae in Waituhi. There’ll be raffles and lucky draws on the night, so bring along some extra cash and get amongst it.
Dates: Friday 11 & Saturday 12 July
