About the event
The Gisborne Choral Society have the Gisborne Orchestra to accompany the two main items on the programme. Cellist Riki Reedy and flautist Susan St John accompany sopranos Serena Foster and Catherine Macdonald in the haunting duet which is bookended by two joyful choruses in the Bach Cantata 191, Gloria in Excelsis. Three trumpeters, including guest Maurice Reid from Whakatane, and timpani played by Karen McKill promise to raise the roof. See you there!
