Whiua ki te ao, whiua ki te rangi, whiua ki Te Tairāwhiti!
Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori 2026 celebrates Ngā Tāone Reo Māori, highlighting four cities where te reo Māori can be seen, heard and embraced every day.
The official launch is happening in Gizzy on Monday 14 September, with live music from DJ CJ Houkamau, a competitive kī-o-rahi tournament with a share of the $3,000 prize pool up for grabs, plus reo challenges, giveaways and plenty of whānau-friendly activities.
