About the event
Two Minutes of Good Stuff returns to the Lawson Field Theatre with a fresh collection of short films celebrating local community organisations and the volunteers who light up our region.
This year’s theme, “The Stars Among Us,” shines a spotlight on the everyday heroes making a big impact, much like the guiding stars of Matariki. These bite-sized films, created by local filmmakers, capture the kindness, collaboration, and quiet leadership that help our communities thrive. With featured films on groups like Gizzy Kai Rescue, Women’s Native Tree Project Trust, Build-a-Band, and many more, it’s a night of celebration, storytelling, and aroha.
You’ll even have your say in the People’s Choice Award, where votes on the night decide who takes home cash prizes and local glory.
