About the event
An uplifting Aotearoa coming-of-age film filled with classic Kiwi comedy! Set in Dunedin 1981, 17-year-old Josh Waaka struggles to fit in as a rugby-obsessed New Zealand comes to grips with the infamous Springboks tour when the arrival of the South African national rugby team set off nationwide protests against apartheid and racism. Starring a sensational cast - Julian Dennison (Hunt for the Wilderpeople), Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords), James Rolleston (Whina) and Oscar-nominee Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting).
