About the event
Smash Palace Present: The Spellbound Vinyl Appreciation Day.
Head down to Smash Palace to celebrate vinyl, refresh your collection and listen as other local record enthusiasts spin their favourite tracks. And you'll be doing good for our local music scene, too, since this event supports the Spellbound Students Music Fund, care of Jane Egan at Gisborne Girls High School.
The day plays out like this:
3 pm - 5 pm: Learn to spin workshop; trade, buy, and sell all things vinyl.
5 pm - 8 pm: Open decks, 15 minute sets, sign up and give your new skills a spin!
And from 5pm, you can refuel with the Mexican, Kihini Catering cooking up great Mexican food from the Smash Palace kitchen.
