About the event
Whakakī Community Planting Day 2025
Whakakī Lake Trust are excited to host this years planting day back in the homelands! We welcome all our whānau, rangatahi and wider community to help tautoko our taiao, Te Waiū o Te Whakakī-niui-a-rua. Like every year, we will be planting native trees around our awa and roto to help protect, restore and enhance our taonga tuku iho for our future generations.
Date: Saturday July 5 (School Holidays)
Time: 10am - 2pm
