Starting the journey of researching your whakapapa genealogy or looking to take it to the next level?
Look no further! This Tuesday 11th from 1pm - 3pm join the clever team at Gisborne Family Research for a free family research workshop upstairs in the Gisborne Library.
We recommend you bring a laptop with you as Fay from Gisborne Family Research leads you through some handy online family database research too.
If you can't make it to the workshop the library has plenty of resources to help get you connected with your whakapapa genealogy, such as Birth Death and Marriage index and a selection of Gisborne newspapers on Microfilm - as well as free access to databases like Ancestry.com too.
