About the event
This unique wananga offers participants the chance to create an Open Whariki Casket, while exploring the deeper aspects of supporting whānau through the dying process. Experienced guest speakers will guide discussions and provide insights on caring for loved ones at the end of life.
Participants from outside the Tairāwhiti/Gisborne region are welcome, with limited accommodation available contact Vicki for details.
The wananga costs $250 per person, and there will be the opportunity to purchase the creations made during the sessions.
Lunch and refreshments are provided each day.
