Free Holiday Fun @ The HB Williams Memorial Library

Nga mahi kei te haere | What’s on @ the HB Williams Memorial Library

Parents and caregivers, bring your coffee and kids down to the library for some free fun holiday activities that will keep the kids occupied and off their devices. These sessions are drop-in based and run from 10.00 am – 11.30 am, Monday to Friday.

All children must be accompanied by an adult during the sessions.

Fun book-themed crafts where kids bring their creativity to life. Bookmarks, comic box, zines, mini books & more.

Diorama

Bring your favourite scene to life with this fun diorama craft. Create your own magical world.

Unleash your imagination, design, write and create your own movie in a box.

Magnets and Badges

Kids can design, draw and press their very own custom magnet or badge to wear or share. Turn their colourful artwork into a unique wearable keepsake.

Pine Hollow Riding School / Riverview Treks

Start of daylight saving and warmer days. The weather looks good for these holidays so it's time to look at spending time with our favourite ponies and other tamariki and rangatahi. We cater for all riding capabilities, if you haven't been before let us know your level so we put you in an appropriate group. Hopefully we'll be able to spend time down at the river with our favourite ponies.

Holiday programme: 28 September–2 October & 5–9 October

Closed: 3 & 10 October

Lessons: 27 September, 4 & 11 October

Holiday programme: $70 per day

Minivan pick-up is 8.50 am, drop-off 4 pm by the Tav. Please make sure you book the minivan when making your booking for the Holiday programme. If dropping your child off at Pine Hollow, drop-off is 9.15 am pick up 3.30 pm

When booking, please ensure you choose your days correctly, as there is a cancellation policy.
